3 ways:

First - what type of image ?

if its a .pdf file on your computer, then you can use adobe acrobat reader pro. edition to extract the identifiable text content.

In this case only texts that have recognisable characters would be extracted and pictures or loggos would not.

Second -

If its a .jpeg, .TIF, .pps or .bmp

Any image that falls in this category is not editable or extractable in any easy means.

There are some software that would convert these page to text but the outcome is not always as exact as the original because there could be loss of message and or meaning in the extracted content.

This message is called Optical Character Reader (OCRs).

Third:

Some HP Scanner could help you do this.

You need to print out the image, usually a very clean (no rough/stain) copy would do.

Place the paper in the scanner tray and scan.

On the scan menu, u shd have optns such as >> scan image/picture; >> scan docs or OCR. select scan document/ or OCR. The scanner attempts to scan the paper reading the content and matching each image with a default font "usually :times new romans" succesful characters wud be recognised and your content would be probably stored in microsoft word pad or word doc. Here you can do your edit to add few things that may be missing.

If all the above didnt work, please retype em your self.

if they're too many spend the night doin them,

if that;s not enough parcel it to me and I'll be glad to help.

ahhhhhh aha, lol

Then tell this methodology save as, and choose jpg, png, or werever. you ought to use paint brush for try this, pintbrush can save in sveral codecs which incorporate jpg, png, gif, and so on. in case you're using linux, in opensuse i understand that when you press the print reveal screen key, you would be sent to an selection for specify a filename for the image and a format.

This is actually a big problem in computing science, in the pattern recognition area of study, you probably need a good OCR or a good pattern recognition program.

This is a branch of "image recognition/processing". Very deep topic, actually science...
