The first answerer to this question claims that Joomla is more expensive - I don't think so. It's just that Joomla is mainly used for actual websites. WordPress is mainly used for blogs.

Joomla is much more powerful than WordPress but, on the other hand, it's also a bit more difficult. However, once you learn the ins and outs of Joomla, it'll be like second nature and you'll be able to do everything with it.

We provide services for Joomla and WordPress at http://www.itoctopus.com - but we find that Joomla is much more suitable for businesses.

They are neither difficult for learning.

Between them, I would prefer WordPress much more than Joomla as there are lots of free WordPress Themes and plugins for you.

You can build a wonderful responsive WordPress site with great ease.

And then, the wordpress theme I downloaded from Mageewp.com is really nice, if you need, you can take a look and have a try with it.

Go with Wordpress. Joomla is good, but I think WP is far easier to use. Plus, there are tons of themes and plugins. No matter what sorts of modification you want to make on your WP site, you are going to find a plugin for it. I've tried nearly all the other CMS, but nowadays I only use Wordpress, it is far more than a blogging platform.

In my opinion joomla is the best content management system for web development. because we can easy to learn and use. It offers lots of good features. For more information about the comparison, visit this link :http://apptha.com/blog/wordpress-vs-joomla/

JOOMLA is horribly over-complex. While you might not be able to do "as much" with Wordpress, by adding a few WP plugins/extensions, you can reach 90%+ of the usual requests by clients
