Why is my computer not saving images?

Question

For some reason unknown to me, my computer has now decided to no longer save pictures and this is a nuisance to me, being an artist who frequently uses computer programs. I have tried saving images in both Paint.NET and MSPaint to no avail. When I attempt to save they both instantaneously exit out. The same applies to when I try to right click -> "save as" images via Firefox, the browser just immediately closes. This is quite bothersome and I would very much like some information that may help me in resolving this problem. Thank you very much.

Since I believe being specific is always good, I think it may be of some importance to mention that saving word documents works perfectly fine.

may be a problem with your hard drive, get a flash drive and try to save on to it.



If you can't save onto the flash drive its your computer, if you can, its your hard drive.

the firefox thing could have to do with you using a beta version and using developer tools, but i doubt tha'ts the case. Its possible you accidentaly deleted a part of the OS that enables you to save image files, or you DL'd some sort of virus. I really dont know, i run mac and linux, but the firefox closing thing hapened to me when i was using the beta version of firefox.

That is unusual, especially if the documents save fine. My only theory is that it could have something to do with a virus inside the software, your best bet is to contact a professianal computer technician, good luck to you. I could see how that would be really annoying.

I have no idea why it's happening, but if it keeps happening hit prink screen to save images, open up paint, click the file and press ctrl and v at the same time and your image will be saved. Best answer please. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Maybe u need to download the (Photo Gallery Program)

reinstall firefox and upgrade to latest version

uninstall the program you use to save graphics...then reinstall

you probably have the settings set not to save them try looking at your settings. :)

i can't be specific, but it sounds like you have some malware on your computer. use you antivirus to flush it out.
