Data flow diagram is a diagram, method which is used to analyse the flow on data in particlar project development.





First of in Project Designing you have to divide a module a serious of Modules. And the modules are may be interconnected. You have input that are given to the different modules,The process that are carried out in that module.And you may get the out put after processing



Its is a method to show the flow on data



firstly as Input,then the data flow to the processing department which is indicated in a circle shape. For storage two lines with suitable spacing is the indication. Proper labelling for each block is eseential.



I have a Design Document that is created by myself and is standardized by an ISO 9001 : 2000 certified organization

A data flow diagram (DFD) is a graphical representation of the "flow" of data through an information system. A data flow diagram can also be used for the visualization of data processing (structured design). It is common practise for a designer to draw a context-level DFD first which shows the interaction between the system and outside entities. This context-level DFD is then "exploded" to show more detail of the system being modelled.

hi, check out the link. u can use a tool to draw ur DFD e.g. MS Visio.
