Take a look at the fonts on dafont.com

It's hard to know what look you are going for... but they probably have a good sans serif font that you could use. There are even some serif ones that could be good.

If you decide that you do want something more fun, take a look at the decorative fonts.

Here are a few:

http://www.dafont.com/fleurs-de-liane.font?nb_ppp=50&text=Plant+Puberty

http://www.dafont.com/kingthings-annex.font?nb_ppp=50&text=Plant+Puberty

There are a LOT of options... go check 'em out.

Actually my husband, who is in the printing industry, has always told me that the easiest font to read with the most impact is the plain Arial font. Being a heading you would bold it and make all the letters in caps. Also to spread out your title with a space between each letter and 3 spaces between the 2 words to be proportionate. You are correct to not include fonts with serifs. Those fonts are not eye catchers.

Fantastic title! Good luck with your project.
