Hey I have some questions about web hosting companies. First of all I want to start a website I have done most of all the coding and I want to put it online now. I was thinking of having bluehost.com host the website. Is that a good hosting company? Also, I have some random questions. How do i put the .css and .html files and any other files onto the site when I have it hosted by bluehost? Also, lets say I already have a site on bluehost and I want to put another site online would it cost more monthly? Meaning would I have to pay for both sites?

For file upload you can use any FTP client or just use your host's control panel. They all have file upload feature built in.

Bluehost is a well known hosting provider owned by the same company that owns multiple hosting brands like iPage, FatCow, Hostmonster, Powweb and a few more, so they all offer pretty much the same features. They also all offer unlimited domain hosting which means that you can host multiple websites on the same hosting account. You don't have to get new hosting for the second website.

I recommend either iPage or FatCow, and if you're not in a hurry I recommend you to wait for this weekend (starting sometime friday afternoon) and check http://www.webhostingdiscounts.org for some great deals. iPage should get a promo price of $2.95/month ($35.40/year).

I don't know about Bluehost, but you can look up reviews of hosting companies easy enough (Hint: Google. try searching "Web host reviews"). To answer your questions: You use a process called FTP to transfer your files. There are also good step by step lessons on the web about how to use FTP. Bluehost may even have one in it's support section.

It's easy enough to have multiple websites under on host account. Just use two different names for the start page (index.htm for one, index2.htm for the other. For instance.). As to whether this will cost extra, check with the Bluehost terms of service

Bluehost is one of the biggest company. However personally i prefer hostgator

When you sign up a web hosting plan. They will give you the ip address of you server. They will also give you a username and password. You will need a FTP program to upload/download file to the web server.

Some hosting's company cheapest plan only allow one domain. If you need more you will need to sign up for a more expensive plan. You don't need a new plan for every domain

I have used BlueHost but prefer HostGator. They have the best customer service; they are user-friendly; they are also environmentally responsible.

If you choose HostGator, you will log in to your cPanel and go to File Manager. You will be able to upload them from there.

You can also get 25% off of your hosting package by entering coupon code "sovereignmusemedia". Their plans have different nicknames. If you choose the "Baby" or "Business" plan, you will be able to host more than one domain name (website) on one package.

Hope this helps!

Not sure about bluehost. Try Netsurfhost.com or choose between Godaddy or Hostgator. Compare them here. wix.com/gosites/hosting

Once you sign-up with your hosting account, you can upload files using with your FTP account. It is very simple and just search for their help section.

You will be able to create multiple folder for multiple sites in your hosting account. After that you just point your domain to specific folder. For example.

yourdomain.com to "site1" folder and

mydomain.com to "site2" folder
