I'm trying to set a small billing system using MS Access as a platform. I have a MySQL database setup through my web hosting company (Yahoo). Can anyone provide some pointers as to how to do it -if at all possible-?

Yes, but you well need to download MySQL's ODBC driver to do so. Once you have it downloaded and installed you will then be able to access MySQL tables using Microsoft Access.

Here is a link to the ODBC Driver:

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/3.51.html

You will have to go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources to configure it. Once you get that setup and connecting properly to your MySQL database, then go to Access. Once in Access, go to File > Get External Data > Link Tables. When the windows opens, choose Files of Type: "ODBC Databases()" and then select the one you just configured.

Hope this helps.
