Creating My Own Website (Part Two)?

Question

I like to write stories! I have them on Quizilla and on Wattpad... But now I want to have my own website to publish my stories regularly... How do I do that for free? I don't want to have a video on there or anything else then just a place to put my stories and a place leave massages and put links up to help out my other friends who write stories... How can I do that?? Make my own writing website??

Okay, this is a repeat of my first quesion and I decided to go with making my own blog!!!! But now here comes the big delema... If I download the wordpress blog on this computer, do I have to keep updating my blog on that same computer?? Because mine is in the shop and I need to know if I should wait till I get it back before downloading the wordpress blog... Help?

.. I'm sure you can update a blog using different machines. It would be very limiting the other way.

you don't download your Wordpress blog. You access it via the browser from anywhere on the planet you can get internet access.

There are some desktop tools though that you can use to create your wordpress content and then post to your site. Sometimes for writing ti is better to work offline and then post the completed story.

Just reading the first few lines of your question, i thought you need a blog, but then you had mentioned blog towards the end of your question.



Once you create a blog you can edit it using any computer, wherever you are, blogs are a good choice for you as people can read them and make comments.



i use blogspot for my blogs and if you dont bu your own domain you will get one which would be



www.the name that you have chosen for your site.blogspot.com ot you can pay $05.00 a month and get your own domain for example www.yoursitename.com

I have two ways here... easy ways to make a website that can be edited on any computer... well the first one is free unless you take a regular .com domain to publish your site... it's $30 bucks a year otherwise it's free... yola.com anything.yolasite.com but if you go to dot.tk, you can take your yolasite domain, and then publish it to a .tk domain for free... otherwise the other way you can do it is through intuit.com but you must provide credit card information

well Im actually building my own website too, I was looking too for some place to publish my stuff, after searching many sites out there I found this one www.webs.com and I think its the best, because they give you many options to do with your website including a space to put your links, photos, videos, blog, also you can create a web store there, you choose your options or what you want in your page, you customize your web site as you like, they give you a free URL for your site like this http://yourtext.webs.com/, but if you want a custom domain name like www.yourtext.com , you must pay $19.95/ year + protection ... I think its very affordable .
