I am making a Linux OS but need to know all the programming languages I need to do it I know this is a very big task and I already have a design which includes blurry transparency and movement I also need a programming language that does a lot with a little bit of code because it quite complex. Can someone please help me.

If you're messing with the compositing manager you'll need C or C++ depending on which manager you choose to modify.

Lol. Seriously? You need an entire team of programmers for it, thats how all linux os makers do it. Nobody can learn and make/update a os single-handedly(at the moment anyway)
