Do U know how to open a corrupted file?

Question

I have a file and i cant open it, i was using this file on Mac....and one of my friends used it and i don't know what she did!!! now I'm trying to open it again ..but it wont open.it says that it's corrupted .. i tried to open it on a window pc by using micrsoft word and other programs ..but it's the same result ..... :(

Anyone can help? :( , it's really important!

Try opening it with an old version of MS Word (2003 below) or a text editor.

You can trying to open it using a text editor like notepad or wordpad in windows and you may be able to salvage the text but the formatting will be lost.
