Why do IE can't fully support HTMLs?

Question

So, I'm starting to refresh my memory unto it, but it seems some codes doesn't work on IE anymore. And so I embed a sound with complete url with a loop set to true then try out to load it. Its like a sound with a player but it loops when played, that's what I'm looking for, since some websites were blocked by the company's firewall I can't find the answer for it, could somebody help me.

The theme currently uses javascript to make IE scale to different viewports , which I intend to remove in version 2.3. Note that the change won’t affect IE9, which recognises media queries .





There are several reasons for dropping full support that I think outweigh any inconvenience IE users will experience:
