If you don't know what MySQL is, you probably won't need it. But if you must know, it's software that gives your site a dedicated database system. Databases are convenient ways for storing large amounts of information in a structured way, for instance Yahoo is probably storing all of these questions and answers in a big database on their server (it's probably a MySQL database, too).

20 E-mail accounts means, I presume, that you can have 20 e-mail accounts running off of the domain. Like, say you register the domain "example.com". Then your e-mail account could be "whatever@example.com". And you could have 20 such e-mail accounts (like if you hire other people to work on the site, you could give them an e-mail account each).

Mailman, Catch All, SpamAssassin and SmarterMail are just programs that are used to provide better e-mail service.

POP3, IMAP and SMTP are telecommunications protocols for dealing with e-mail. I don't know the specifics but you probably don't have to worry about it.

User and Account Level Filtering I'm not sure.

You can have 20 MySQL databases (a database for your website)

You can have 1 Microsoft SQL Server database (a different database for your website)

You can have 20 Email Accounts

POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) is the mail protocol for recieving mail.

SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is the mail protocol for sending mail.

This is a pretty standard package.

You can insert data into a database via your server side scripts using PHP or ASP. SQL is a query language used to run queries against a relational database management system. This will only be important to you if you plan on coding the website yourself.
