what is an average size (in pixels) of a standard header for an HTML email?

I need to build some art work for an HTML Header

Depends on the user's resolution. Most users are now running at at least 800x600 resolution.. So something like 800x100 would probaly work...

There's no real standard or average size...whatever looks best on the page you are making.



A good height, though, would be between 80 and 200px. Width is good at 800px.

Most people keep their window pane for email fairly small and I would go with 650 pixels if possible.
