You need dopdf. Which is a freeware application. By installing this you will get a printer named as dopdf. To convert your document to pdf follow the steps.
1. Click file menu and then click on print.
2. Now in printer selection select dopdf.
3. Click on print.
4. After that it will ask you to choose the location where you want your pdf document.
5. Then click ok.
Find the link to download it.

In case you wouldn't have Adobe Acrobat program, now not the Reader, you export the PageMaker file as .Eps and open that PostScript file in Adobe Illustrator. The Acrobat program has a delicate printer that converts 1-to-1 and preserves fonts if you happen to set up the choices correctly. Illustrator will permit you to tweak your page before saving out as .Pdf. PageMaker is the satan, but with Acrobat it does the satisfactory PDF of any other answer.
