There is no "best" language. However, if you found C++ too complicated, you might want to try XNA (video games) or Visual Basic (programs). Links to both below.

At San Francisco State University there are two intro to programming classes: C++ and Java. The easiest language to learn is probably Basic.

You could try learning VB.Net because it is very easy to learn and explore. But if you don't ahve a strong understanding of object oriented theories then you will have trouble with all programming languages. A strong base knowledge of how computers view objects and how they function makes learning any new programming language just switching to the new syntax.

ive learned BASIC and found it quite easy, but for newbies i would recomend learning Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 coding language first.

I would like to suggest for you to take up COBOL first but you are taking a hard time to learn c and c++. So I think you should try to learn JAVA or Visual basic. :-)

C is certainly not the first one to try to learn. :)

You might try VB6, it's pretty easy to use. C# isn't too bad, although perhaps not the greatest for a newbie.
