how to disable underline for links?

in my html document, all the links are underlined when the cursor is on them, how to disable this?

In your CSS, you can remove the underline.



To remove the underline from all states:



a:link, a:hover, a:active, a:visited {

text-decoration:none;

}



To remove the underline only from the hover state:

a:hover {

text-decoration:none;

}

Go to Tools, above and click. Then Internet Options. Then Advanced. Scroll down to where it says underline URLs and click on the never choice.

It looks superb in IE7 (the same because evidently in FF 3.0.7). there is not any longer something you may want to do - on the web page - to keep IE6 and below from imparting you with obvious outlining on link pictures - that is purely how IE labored. Why? because Microsoft theory that they set the criteria. They nonetheless do, yet they don't like dropping market percentage, so as that they are slowly entering line with the genuine international.
