I have accidentally erased my tiff file. However, I still have a jpg file (resolution 3500x5000 pixels). Is there any chance to get a good print (digital print, not simple ink-jet), for example 160x220mm (300dpi). Medium compression was used.

If you just saved your tiff file as jpeg without changing the resolution then it should work well. Also I hope its CMYK.

You will get a better print the higher the resolution, simple as that, most problems arise when the resolution of the picture or photo is low, such as 200x250

You need not worry. You will have fine printout. Problem occurs when you print a lower resolution image with magnification.

Set the resolution on the system as high as possible and see if you can get entire page to fit on screen.

If you still have it at 300 DPI, then probably no problem all other things being equal.
