They're a gaming community that provides webspace to clans and offers a number of tools to make running your clan a whole lot easier.. A few features you can look forward to:
- Customizable Rank chains and promotion tools
- Customizable Awards and distribution tools
- Mass Communication Tools (mass-email, forums) and private messaging system
- Events Calendar, Polls, Announcement Tools
- Customizable Structure for segregating the clan into units/platoons (name them whatever you like and delegate authority to members to lead those units as you see fit)
- Secure member accounts and profiles that hold promotion history, assignment history, and Awards
- Completely customizable content pages for the clan and its constituent units so you and your Officers can list rules, expectations, clan history, announcements, news... anything you like.
.. and quite a bit more. All in all, over 30 tools that you can make use of... and if HTML scares you, the page editors can switch back and forth between HTML and Rich Text, so you can edit your pages just like you would edit a Word document.
Of course, it's all free, and you get a default template when you get started, so from day 1, your clan is ready to go (customize pretty much everything from there). Check out a few of their clans to get a general idea of what you can do with it.
The site itself is run by volunteering members from within the community, so when you have a question about something, you actually get a real person helping you sort it out. ... I'm one of 'em. :)
