Instead of me explaining it myself, here's a link that does that:

CHeers!

PS Wordprocessors can only do so much regarding layout. Perhaps it's time for you to get acquainted with layout software, such as InDesign, QuarkXpress, or... Scribus! Scribus is free to download & use:

I never, ever (unless I'm forced to) use Word for any layouting job anymore, and Scribus & Word make a good pair. A layout app does have a different way of working, though, so some expect a learning curve.

I have 2007.

You have to use WordArt in order for this to work. Select the Insert tab (or ribbon). Click on the WordArt icon which is located in the 2nd last group (Text). It's the icon with the partially rotated "A".

Pick a WordArt image that you prefer or looks similar to your text. Don't worry there are ways to change all the settings.

An "Edit WordArt Text" box will appear. Change the font if necessary, the size of the font and type the text. Hint: if you want several lines of text you have to hit the Enter key on your keyboard at the end of each line - it appears to wrap text in this box but it doesn't really. Click on OK when done.

Adjust the position of the box (by dragging it) and adjust any settings - they are easily laid out on the WordArt Tools - Format ribbon.

When you are ready to rotate the text, make sure the WordArt box is selected. In the second last group (Arrange), see the two triangles in the bottom right hand corner of the Arrange group? Click on that and select Flip Horizontal.

There you go. If you need additional help using WordArt feel free to drop me a line through Yahoo Answers e-mail.
