The "deep web" is just a name for all webpages that don't appear in search engines.

An example would be the admin dashboard of a wordpress blog, which isn't accessible by random people anyway (you need to login first), so there's no point in indexing it.

Another example would be a youtube video that is marked by the uploader as "unlisted". You can view it if you have the URL, but it, too, doesn't appear in searches.

No special software is required, all you need is the full URL of a "deep web" page. There's also nothing illegal about it.

The "dark web" otoh uses a special protocol to deliver web pages, and you need the TOR browser and a special .onion link to visit the site.

A conventional web server can see a visitor's IP address and other details, and anybody can see who registered a domain. Thus, website creators and visitors who want to remain anonymous came up with onion routing. It's basically like torrents, but for web pages instead of files.

Although there are of course illegal activities taking place in the dark net, merely visiting it is perfectly fine.

Tor or i2p but Tor is the most famous and safest way to access it but I wouldn't go in the deep web cause I have heard from like a billion people there is nothing you need and some even said there are gore pages and redrooms. I wouldn't wanna see any of that. Plus there is no government protection so if you are gonna access the deep web I also recommend getting a PAID VPN. I recommend finding one that does not have you're location, maybe get a paid proxy too.

Most people use the TOR browser, which is a modified version of FireFox: https://www.torproject.org/

Just keep in mind:

1. Using the TOR network is generally slow. Most websites will take quite a bit longer to load.

2. The dark web isn't like Google. You can't really "search" for websites. You have to know the address.

3. You probably can come across some very bad stuff; do so at your own risk.

4. A lot of .onion sites you visit will probably be dead/defunct.

For the Deep Web you use TOR, For the Dark Web, You need someone of the Deep web to give you the download link, Its very hard to come by but If your looking to go on the Dark Web you obviously want to commit a crime of some sort. If your trying to get on the Dark Web to reach Marianas web then your wasting your time...

What is Deep Web? ( Guide To Access Deep Web Safely) http://safedeepweb.xyz/

The Dark Web is a term that refers specifically to a collection of websites that are publicly visible, but hide the IP addresses of the servers that run them. Thus they can be visited by any web user, but it is very difficult to work out who is behind the sites. And you cannot find these sites using search engines.

Almost all sites on the so-called Dark Web hide their identity using the Tor encryption tool. You may know Tor for its end-user-hiding properties. You can use Tor to hide your identity, and spoof your location. When a website is run through Tor it has much the same effect.

How to access the Dark Web ( Full Tutorial on ApploidWiz)

Technically, this is not a difficult process. You simply need to install and use Tor. Go to Anonymity Online and download the Tor Browser Bundle, which contains all the required tools. Run the downloaded file, choose an extraction location, then open the folder and click Start Tor Browser. That's it. The Vidalia Control Panel will automatically handle the randomised network setup and, when Tor is ready, the browser will open; just close it again to disconnect from the network.

Depending on what you intend to do on the Dark Web, some users recommend placing tape over your laptop's webcam to prevent prying eyes watching you. A tinfoil hat is also an option.

The difficult thing is knowing where to look. There, reader, we leave you to your own devices and wish you good luck and safe surfing. And a warning before you go any further. Once you get into the Dark Web, you *will* be able to access those sites to which the tabloids refer. This means that you could be a click away from sites selling drugs and guns, and - frankly - even worse things.

Mysterious Stories About Deep Web

Scare stories about the ‘dark web’ are common – but what actually happens when you go ‘off piste’ into the parts of the internet Google doesn’t reach?

Reddit users shared their stories about the ‘dark web’ – specifically Tor sites, invisible to normal browsers, and notorious for hosting drug markets and child pornography.

Using the free Tor browser, you can access special .onion sites – only accessible using the browser – many of which openly host highly illegal content including pirated music and films, drugs, child pornography and sites where credit card details are bought and sold.

Just use tor and download a good vpn if you don't already have one. Steer clear of cp and always try to have at least a lil context on what a link is before you click.

It's incredibly disturbing this question has been asked. Even more disturbing so many of you have provided answers!

OP clearly intends to commit a crime/s, at best drug importation, at worst, paedophilia. C'mon! Think of the potential consequences of you providing such info. While it may be easily obtainable elsewhere, do you really want to be the one who enables this dude??? ?You have no clue of his intentions, but you can be sure they aren't good!
