You installed WordPress on your root folder, which in cPanel is the public_html folder. To get to your install you go to: http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php

Basically, in cPanel your root folder points to your main domain. Within cPanel you may have installatron or Fantastico de Luxe. If you have either one of these, it will install WordPress for you in a few easy steps.

Here's a guide on using Fantastico de Luxe in cPanel if it is available:

Rather than guessing where the files and directories have been defined.

Use FTP or a cPanel File Manger and look at the files and folders themselves.

For a manual install, you will need to located that install.php file. Then re-populate the URL to that path and file.

Of course, ensure you did fully unzip everything and to the proper directories.

Verify it did not go to a folder above public_html, too.

Go here "http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php" since you put the file in your root folder and not in sub-domain which is example.com/blog

According to your explanation, you didn't follow the tutorial... you said that you put the files on your root folder but you are going in "http://example.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php" which is wrong. Because you should go here "http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php" because you put the wordpress files in your root folder and not in sub-domain. If you want to make your http://example.com/blog/ a wordpress then put the wordpress files not in your root.

you are able to run Wordpress on your very own computing device with WAMP or different webservers/and so on. maximum loose cyber web hosting amenities are not going to furnish the finished selection of amenities required for WordPress (or very limited get admission to, at the same time with in straight forward terms one sq. table the place approximately 8 are mandatory). Wordpress itself can host your very own reproduction. TypePad is yet another decision, that could have the comparable barriers/standards.
