I've searched the web for online converters but what they do is to convert my html into pure text, losing my tags. What I want is to convert it the way i created my html, with the tags and formatting.

Open your HTML file in any browser you want. After you've opened it, right click anywhere on the page and select 'View source/view page source'. It will open your HTML file in a notepad and you can copy the text and save it as a TXT file.

Copy the file then rename it from .html to .txt.

Did you just copy and use the first XSLT filter that says it does this and you thought that you wanted? I did this too myself, but further digging finding yourself a sheet of "Identity Transformation" would be what you need.
