Please help! 404 Error? Object not found?

Question

On Eclipse, i click on run as webpage, then it gives me the "object not found message". I saved the file in htdocs and still not working Help

You do realize that nobody can click that link right? Localhost would redirect to the computer of the person who clicks it not to your computer.

more detail please. you must place the file in c:\xampp\htdocs\ChallengeMe\ to use an address like that with your web server. this other guy is unfamiliar with XAMPP.



by the way, you can use your hosts file and apache's httpd.conf to set up virtual hosts and have addresses like http://challengeme/home.php

just takes a few hours work.

oftentimes potential the link to the object isn't working. the two its been bumped off, the server is down or the link is incorrect. not normally to do with the registry except its affecting numerous diverse web content.
