There's a video I need to download for school, and it's an ASF file, which I need to convert for Mac. I downloaded software for it, but it still won't work. Can anyone help me via teamviewer?

You need the Windows drivers. Windows thinks it's a foreign entity right now. Once you install the drivers, it will know what it is and you will be able to use it. The drivers should be on the OS X disc. Check the support document out below.

try zamzar (http://www.zamzar.com/ )to convert your video from .ASF to .MOV so it can be played with

quick time, or try VLC media player (www.videolan.org/vlc/) to play that file . If that didn't work , put the link of your video here to check it.

You don't need team viewer. You need to sell that over priced and incompatible Mac garbage you fell for and get a PC!
