Wordpress blog plugins. What are the best?

I've been scouring sites for what the best plugins are that I can utilize for my music review blog. Between worpdress' ginormous bank of plugins and the thousands of sites/blogs old and new(mostly old) listing what they think is best, it's a bit much to try and find. Anyone out there give me a list on what they feel are the most affluent plugins for worpdress as of RIGHT NOW, JUNE 2010 ?! :)

Though if you google around a bit, there are some very good sources that have vast lists. You can just google: best wordpress plugins june 2010, and something is bound to come up.

That's like asking what the best flavor of ice cream is. What's best for my site - like a download manager - might be a total waste of effort for your site. (Or you may want it, so your users can download snippets of music.) That's one of the fun parts of blogging (and one of the things that takes the most effort) - finding the plugins, widgets, etc., that make your blog what it is.
