I need to download the newest Adobe Flash, but it keeps telling me "installation failed"?

This all started when I tried to watch a youtube video (I use Firefox) and the youtube video became filled with a grey screen with a little message inside, "Adobe flash plugin has crashed". It gave me the option to send an error report, which I did, and then I tried to install a new Adobe Flash, since I thought maybe mine had just gotten old. I've tried three times now, and it just keeps...not installing! What do I do?

Ah, this has happened to me several times. What I think I did was uninstalled Firefox then installed it again then installed the plugin. You could always switch to a different browser. Google Chrome and Opera are in some ways better than Firefox if you don't have UI addons and such.

Videos issues are often related to Adobe Flash Player (you can download it here http://j.mp/1sxRW9L) You have to download and install/update Adobe flash player to be able to watch videos on the internet (Youtube, Facebook, etc..) With Flash Player as well as watching videos you can also play flash games online. Sometimes this software is not installed or is damaged/corrupted and it's responsible for many problem with videos. Hope that helps.

* Run Reginout scan for active-x, file associations and other registry erros largely behind such crashes.

http://www.filetransit.com/download.php?id=79029

* Try to uninstall the current flash player version. Read this official guide to uninstall flash plugin:

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

* Use official uninstaller tool to remove all flash elements from your computer.

* After completing the above task download flash player 9 instead of the latest version. Sometimes there are intricate browser flash conflicts and changing the versions is often helpful.

* Update your sound drivers if possible since the videos may simply crash because of the corrupted or missing drivers.

1) Open Device Manager

2) Find the sound-card device

3) Remember the name of the device

4) Uninstall it.

5) After doing this restart your system.

6) Then update these drivers

So..

I found a free download of Adobe Falsh Player here http://bit.ly/1tmMp3l

The last version of Adobe Flash Player is the only solution if you have problems to watch videos online, like if you see black screen or if you have problems to load the video.

Cheers.

happened to me too, I just ignored it and next time it tried to update, it did so with no problems.
