HTML5 is an upcoming standard,which is not adopted fully by all the browsers,So switching to it may not be a wise decision now.



HTML5 give very good flexibility for developers,There are lots of advancement like inbuilt validation,advance style capability,you will get awesome UI using HTML5 with minimal effort.

HTML5 is just an extension of HTML. It adds some new features, and makes a few features obsolete (although for the most part the obsolete features are still supported by browsers).

Basically HTML5 Supports video and audio and location based services however the rest is the same. you might be partial to adding html5 video unless you have a backup flash player
