I was doing this essay for english, the paragraphs are pretty large, just right now I'm editing it, but as I add more words, the number of sentences also increase. Then for some reason, two sentences from a certain page went to a new page, I know this happens when sentences gets pushed to a new page because of the added words. BUT, when I try to backspace the sentences on the next page, for it to merge with the lonely two sentences, it won't budge, I can't get it to work and I need it to be properly formatted. :(

PLEASE HELP, I'm not that good at the functions of word.

You need to see what you are doing by pressing Ctrl-Shift-* to display non printing characters such as the spaces between words and paragraph markers- ΒΆ.

Also in Word 2007 and newer, press Shift-F1 to display the Reveal Formatting task pane. Click in different areas to show you exactly what formatting has been applied in that area.

EDIT: You can highlight an area and press Ctrl-Q to remove all paragraph formatting and Ctrl-Spacebar to remove all font formatting.

Copy all the text, open a new document, right click, and select "Paste Text Only".

That should clear all the formatting.

(Only works in Office 2007 or later)

I can't tell for sure unless I get to see it... but try adjusting the margins. Find it somewhere in the Page Layout tab.
