When the built-in media player doesn't work, use VLC.

You can get it for free here: http://j.mp/1lqh1fl

It's my favourite media player and I highly recommend it over any other audio/video player.

VLC (video lan connect) is a great open source software to play any types of video files. VLC has a built in dvd decodere and works with many different video and audio formats including OGG, MP2, MP3, MP4, DivX, HD codecs like AES3, Raw Dirac.

yeah - you pick "ISO Buster" as bin and.cue archives are so arranged as to have Windies now not see them except they are examine from a CD/DVD. ISO Buster gets around this concern the two via - setting up the archives onto a CD as though they have been commercially placed there (only copying from abode windows/linux won't do it, i'm afraid). Or via putting the document as much as a 'digital disc' - this is the place the utility takes slightly chew of your difficult-tension and contraptions it up as though it have been a disc in a CD related on your laptop. Then Windies can examine it as though it grew to become right into a disc inserted into your computer. Bit long-winded, yet that's what you get for downloading 'unfastened' utility programmes from the internet. If later variations of Media participant DO enable you to apply those archives, it is not reason adequate to enhance. the main present day variations of Indows Media participant has each and every form of little reporting contraptions and codes outfitted into it. Ostensibly to dodge copyright infringements (as this seems to be), yet they are additionally waiting to collect all varieties of tips. so which you isn't waiting to play archives except you have the specific (and present day) licence agreements saved on you laptop for each and each document which you prefer to play. Ah. Welcome in, vast Brother. (and that i advise that for the duration of an Orwellian experience, now not a Channel 4 one)
