'Which coding language is easier to learn? Python, or Java?'

Well, since i started with python and am now learning Java, i have to say python.

I mean, come on, the simple hello world syntax in java is extremely intimidating! And i thought it was intimidating even after I'd knew enough python to make a sort of a space-shooting mini-game! (Around the time when i gave up python to learn java)

Python has its syntax much more similar to English, making it more understable, simpler and less intimidating. I think that's very important for beginners, because if they are too intimidated they might just give up and say 'this **** is too hard, **** this I'm going back to playing plain vanilla minecraft'.

Much better if they learn an easy language and realize coding isn't as hard as it seems. (In order to get them started, later they'll disciver by themselves if coding is for them or not)

Although I started off with java first, python has a much easier syntax. So to answer your question Python is easier but I would still recommend java as it is the the most popular language, and once you learn that everything else is easier to learn.

That's a great question but completely based on preference. Personally I like python much more! https://www.codecademy.com has some great resources for learning python right out of the gate. Give it a try and see what you think. It's a lot of fun. Happy coding! :).

Python is *much* easier. Code Academy would be a good place to start, but as soon as you finish it, start writing your own programs!

Both two languages are easy to learn depending upon your interest..
