I am a Freshman in High School, and took an online Python course last year. It helped me a lot in terms of enthusiasm. The class starts in late October, and I greatly recommend it. You will be given major programming assignments each week, which you will all enjoy. All your projects will be done on an online IDE, @ www.codeskulptor.org. It is taught by 4 professors from Rice University, and is free. It starts off with a basic hello world program on week 1, going all the way to an Asteroids clone by week 8. If you want to see the final project, search youtube for RiceRocks. There are a few videos on it. link to the class is: https://www.coursera.org/course/interactivepython

You will need to sign up for Coursera.org, in order to take the course. If you end up taking it, good luck, and have fun!

Some computer programming concepts take time to understand, whether you know a language already or not. It's normal for things to take time studying to understand - took me a while to understand functions in ROBLOX Lua. Partly because I was studying the Lava Brick code and not the regular Lua way of calling functions lol.

Take your time, and don't worry. You will understand anything you are trying to learn eventually if you know the basics. The basics are the hardest part for any language, especially your first. Maybe basics are easy if you know a language already, but not if you don't.
