Why does my Myspace profile song take forever to load? The song keeps on starting and stopping. Please help.?

Every Myspace profile I vist (with a song on it), the song will play for 10-15 seconds then stop for about 30 seconds. A 4 minute song takes over 10 minutes to finish. I wish I could figure out a way in which I can listen to a whole song from start to finish without it stopping and starting so much.

Complain to Tom. They need more and faster servers. Right now, MySpace suffers from way overuse and being way underpowered. I've had this same problem with the songs I've uploaded. While I do host some stuff there, it's really not a site I would use as my primary music site.



Just too many problems, bugs, slowness and non-specific problems (like that song stopping and starting thing).



The MySpace site desperately needs more servers.

Try using Macromedia Flash. Import your song and then export it as Flash (with an 'swf' extension). The good thing is, your file size are smaller (normal size mp3 can be reduced to just 400kb). The 'swf' file which is pronounced 'swiff' should stream and play well. It will do good if accompanied by a few lines of ActionScript.

Try pausing the track and allowing it to download into your computers cache memory. give it a minute or 2 to download and then play it. www.myspace.com/slash482. The file needs to download from the site it was sourced from and therefore takes awhile to load. It also depends on the speed of your connection and theirs... Correct me if I'm wrong anybody :)
