hi, i need some help.i am new to html. my question is-i want to create a website.it is a slidshow website.i need to have the header and footer of the website to remain constant,only the contents need 2 be changd when a visitor clik the 'next' button

If it is just html, then you will just have to copy the page and change the part in the middle (unless you want to use frames, which generally speaking are a bad idea).
If you are using some kind of server-side scripting language (like php), you can use includes to re-use the same content across pages.

But with reguards to your problem it appears you need an iframe.
