You need a Mac to develop on. Then you can install and use Xcode. To learn some Xcode, look for the Standford course 193P in iTunes U.

It took me about three months to learn and put my idea into an app. I used a Mac mini.

I suppose android is satisfactory for you seeing that you already know script on it. But if you want to be trained objective-C. Which you could be taught. Given that function-C is just right. That you would be able to strengthen iphone apps with the support of purpose-C. Presently iphone and android both Smartphone are popular.

I don't think it is possible. However I know Omnie Solutions (http://www.omniesolutions.com/mobile-applications.aspx) which uses cross platform mobile application development company based in Atlanta which uses IBM Worklight platform. It works on iPhone, android, blackberry mobile apps.

I find it pretty impossible, but what i am sure about is Xcode is only for MAC computers.
