Im writting an essay for an online application that is limited to 2000 characters. How long would that be in words. I usually average 15-20 words per sentence and 10-15 letters. Im not sure if they count spaces as characters.

probably not count spaces as characters. In word to find characters go to tools>word count and it tells you. that question you asked was only 186 characters.

Approximately 2,000 characters.

spaces and punctuation are part are characters themselves. therefore, include them in the counting...
