Hey all!

I have downloaded Java JDK 6 Update 11. I downloaded it and everything went fine. But now I have to INSTALL it. So I click on the Install thing, and it comes up and windows Installer comes up. But then I get an error saying, "my computer doesn't support this, please contact your product vendor." And I have trued downloading all the different JDKs and they all get he same error. Could anyone pleeeaasee help? Thank you

Hi, can you actually paste the real error message? Have you attempted to google for the error message in its entirety? Are you planning to do Java development? If not, do you really require the JDK? Will the JRE not suffice?

Whether it is the JDK or JRE you require, both are available from the following location (you should be going with 1.6 to stay with the times):

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Hope this helps.

Uninstall all of them and reinstall the leading modern-day one. no longer something will ensue negatively. The Java Engine does occasionnaly replace into corrupt and desires to be reinstalled. I particularly have finished it on particularly some clientele computers.....No huge deal in any understand.

this message says that you have to have jdk/jre 1.6 installed prior to install this update
