For anyone who learned Python as there first programming language ....how long did it take you?

I've been working on it on and off for about 18 months I can write basic programs in IDE and TK
not doing 3D games or anything yet but some 2D no former experience with computers or mathematics

I have a friend that practically taught himself in a matter of months, so doing that is realistic. However, to learn the ins and outs, you wont have to necessarily get a degree in it, just take a few basic courses at a community college and maybe a couple higher level ones as well. They do make textbooks that you can buy to learn how to do HTML encoding as well, if learning on your own is what you really want. Hope this helps!

It probably took me several weeks to get all the concepts for my first language. 5 days is long enough to just barely get a sense of what's happening, but not long enough to know if you're any good at it.
