The simple answer is that Oracle 10g is a real product from Oracle. Oracle 11i does not exist; the Oracle product is Oracle 11g.

Additional features in 11g:

.Simplified and improved automatic memory management

2.New fault diagnosability infrastructure to prevent, detect, diagnose, and help

resolve critical database errors

3.Invisible Indexes

4.Virtual columns

5.Enhanced security for password-based authentication by enabling use of mixed

case in passwords.

6.Tablespace-level encryption

7.Ability to online redefine tables that have materialized view logs

Dear friend,

Oracle 11i and Oracle 11g both are different things. Oracle 11g stands with database version and Oracle 11i stands for Oracle E-business suite. Kindly keep in mind this difference is biggest. You can googling for more version specific features and got so many new features from Oracle.com itself and oracle-base.com.

Thanks and regards,
