Wordpress website load time - How to improve?

I need help. I'm quite a newbie on designing websites. My client gave me the opportunity to test my skills, the task is to duplicate this website http://www.cashfortrucks.com/ and I am already finished with it but the loading time of the site is quite slow. Check out my version http://pintpixel.net/temporarysite/ and it's hosted on justhost.com

You can compare them and mine is quite slow. I already have compressed the images, optimized the database on phpmyadmin, uninstalled some plugins, formatted and optimized the CSS. Am I missing something? How do I optimize it more?

Any help would be fine.

Thanks.

Hello again TJ,

The site loads fine on a broadband connection. I did notice some lag on the first load, but it's smooth sailing after the images are cached. All things being equal, I would suspect the server.

You're probably on top of this, but I did notice a couple of things:

Your page titles are not complete. Many have just a hyphen while others only have the page title.

Check your meta fields. There are no descriptions or keywords (Bing and Yahoo still look at keywords).

You might want to use a plugin like All-in-one-SEO to help with these.

Looks great so far.

Cheers.

while you are linking to other webpages in your web site, make sure keywords have been incorporated as the clickable content material of the link. instead of having a link the fact that says "click here"

change the first area to: Welcome to Louis bathrooms Plumbing... also make the font larger, and furnish more advantageous suggestion, like the position Louis bathrooms Plumbing and Co. is depending. per chance furnish a telephone form too. also, on the right, it says Welcome web page, per chance change that to Louis bathrooms Plumbing and Co. each and every thing else it solid, like easiness of utilising the website and colour scheme.
