As I said. I am writing a simple game but need to know the best language to use to create the game. I have practiced the languages C, C++ and Java for a minimum of three years now. I am enrolled in a University and studying these languages. I will soon be learning C# to finish my degree.

So therefore, I am a beginner. I have practiced writing Java and C++ Interfaces but they did not work exactly as I planned. I was wondering if there are tutorials online for beginners in creating games and GUIs. Or do I have to go to a course to learn all of these techniques.

Java can be used to make a game, just have a look at Minecraft for example.

You can get the source code for it to see how it's made, or look up some simple tutorials online.

Yes well you can do it well with either of the languages. Like C++ and Java will both work greatly.

As for the GUI. Just use NetBeans built in GUI builder.

You CANNOT get the official source code to Minecraft, and you can't get any of it legally. There are bootleg source code imitations of the decompiled source code, but these aren't very good, and certainly aren't legal. Your best bet would be to go with C.
