try going to regulate panel - Folder concepts - report kinds. locate PDF and make functional it Opens with acrobat. click develop and get rid of all moves in Edit report type window. If that doesn't help, something is messing which includes your registry. try uninstalling Illustrator.

Simply, press shift and right click on the XML file and choose "open with". It will show you a list of the programs installed on your system. Choose the program that you want to handle XML files (say notepad). Don't forget to check on "always use this program to open that kind of file".
