This is a common problem that usually comes up when an existing site is re-created in Wordpress then the DNS entries are moved to make the Wordpress site go live.

To change the Wordpress folder do the following:

1. log into your sites cPanel

2. click the icon at Databases > phpMyAdmin

3. . on the left-side of the panel click the database associated with your Wordpress database

4. Click the wp_options table on the left-side

5. click the Edit icon for to the siteurl field

6. change the URL to http://www.xxxxx.com/blog

7. click the Go button to save your changes

8. click the > button at the bottom to go to the next page

9. click the Edit icon for to the home field

10. change the URL to http://www.xxxxx.com/blog

That should do it.

i don't remember the right thank you to do the 301 redirect on homestead windows. What you'll be able to desire to do is touch godaddy. you'll be able to desire to tell them that permissions are incorrect and that they could desire to be fixed. the day gone by. Then discover out on the subject of the 301 redirect. possibly evaluate going back to your previous permalink shape. yet those permissions could desire to be fixed or somebody will hack your blog.
