How do I convert files to PDF format on my IMac?

I have an Apple computer, IMac

I have some assignments I am doing online computer courses. Need to be submitted in PDF format.
How do I convert my files to PDF format for submission?

Mac OS X has PDF support built in. Select Print from your application's File menu and then click the PDF button at the bottom of the Print dialogue window.

Preview can save PDFs, I believe. Though you've told us absolutely nothing about the format the files are currently in, so we can't help you at all.



Pages exports to PDF. Illustrator, obviously, exports PDFs.
