What does hpConnectionManager.exe - Fatal Error mean?

I keep getting an error that pops up and says
"HP Connection Manager Service has stopped responding. Please exit and restart the application. A fatal error occurred, check the HP Connection Manager in Event View for more details. Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {a bunch of numbers and letters} failed due to the following error: 80080005."

Can anyone help me out?

The message for 80080005 is "Server execution failed". This means that some part of that application cannot load. Possibly a recent update broke it or your hard drive is starting to fail and it cannot be read properly. Reinstalling the application should fix it.
