Some Help with the 403 Forbidden error page?

Question

So I already know what 403 Forbidden means, (I looked it up when i first got the error page, (it's forum included)). And the reasons I've found so far was that either the website is down or I'm not allowed to access the page. So can I not use that page anymore, or is it just down for a while and I'm not the only one experiencing it? If I'm not allowed to use the page, did only me individually get banned from it? Did I do something wrong?! And if it's just down for a while, is there any ways I can find out when it will be up again? The forum I'm trying to access is http://www.vmkunleashed/forums.com you know you may have heard that vmk is coming back on May 21st as vmk unleashed blah blah blah... Anyway! I couldn't get any information from the website, cause there is no website... when you type in http://www.vmkunleashed.com it just goes to this introduction or something cause they haven't really finished making it yet... ok my summary~ If I'm banned from the website or if the website is just down is there anymore information i need, like when the error will clear. AND ALSO can someone check http://www.vmkunleashed.com/forums to see if i'm not the only person experiencing it? :please & ''thank you :-)

A few different things may have happened:



- DNS changed (this is pointed at a different server and /forums directoray isn't fully setup). This could have happened if they're moving servers, performing maintenance, or anything along these lines

- The forums directory or alias were deleted/broken/moved or the permissions may have been set so that the web server user cannot read that directory. Some administrative function broke the directory.

- This could be intentional to prevent people from certain network blocks from reaching that portion of the site. I do this with my forums so that the asian & russian spam would stop.



I'm leaning towards a permission issue or a server move personally. I get 403 forbidden also.

They haven't put up the site yet, there are 404's and 403's all over the place.

This is a kid trying to make a gameing site that really needs a little more practice.

When you make a site you need to make sure it works before you publish it.

The site that does halfway work is to long, it needs to be shortened up

The 1st, 3rd and 4th of the sites you listed are bad. The 2nd one works. :)

I can get to http://www.vmkunleashed.com/ just fine, but can not get http://www.vmkunleashed.com/forums as it gives me a 403 error.

It appears many people are having the same problem. Maybe the site is down or there are to many people on it. o.o
