My computer was working perfectly fine yesterday. But upon starting it up this morning I noticed that once I got to the log-in screen, the usual blue background was replaced with a black background and a log-in box. After I logged in, my desktop background came up and another box appeared saying The application failed to initialize properly (0xc01500002) Click ok to terminate the app.

When I click ok, the desktop remains but the computer completely locks up. I can still move the mouse but none of my icons work, ctrl+alt+del doesn't work to bring up the command screen and the start key doesn't work either. Please help. Hopefully, I don't need an installation CD to repair it...

Im sorry but that sounds pretty messed up :(

If you cant system restore or CTRL+ALT+DLT to bring up Task manager than you have quite a big problem. Is there anything you have installed recently that may have had a virus in it?

Did you bash your computer and damage the Hard Drive?

Get back to me and Ill see what I can do :D

Good Luck :D

Most computer errors are born in a part of your system which hardly anyone knows or understands - the registry. This is the central database of Windows, which actually stores some of your computer's most important files and settings. Everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper are kept in this database, making it one of the most used parts of the Windows system.Because it's used so much, the registry database is actually prone to becoming corrupt and damaged, which makes Windows struggle to read the files inside it. Unfortunately, 100's of registry files are corrupted every week and Windows has no way to protect against it - it's this problem which causes most of your computer's errors. The problem is that when these files are corrupted, your PC actually takes longer to read them and often can't read them at all. This causes errors on your PC which seem to appear randomly. You can use a Registry cleaner. http://cleanup-comuter-run-perfectly.com

Registry cleaners are tools which have been created to scan through the registry. They work by scanning each file and then checking to see if it's corrupt or causing problems. If they find that it is broken, the registry cleaner will replace or fix the file for you to make your computer speed up and become free of errors. You should have a try! Good Luck!

I'm afraid you'll have to use the installation CD to repair. Explorer might be hit be a virus or a system error, and if task manager doesn't work either, your OS is really broken. So the only advice I can give you is to go to a PC store to repair, or reinstall your os yourself.

After receiving this message many demanding situations on an identical time as surfing the internet, I closed IE. while i attempted to launch IE it does not even launch. I re-put in and rebooted. Then I gained an identical lsass.exe blunders. Now i'm caught. I did a virulent disease test the day previous morning and there have been no matters got here across. Virus updates have been up as much as now as properly.
