Why can't I transfer apps into my TI 84 Plus?

When I ever try to transfer apps on to my calculator, I can't and the sign comes up- "Unable to communicate with the calculator. Please check your connection". I tried everything I could to make it work but it doesn't! Can someone please tell me what is wrong and how can I fix it? My computer is Window 7 Premier and I use TI 84 Plus.

Try the following:



Different USB port on your computer.



Archive all the programs and variables in RAM, and do a RAM reset of the calculator.



Re-install TI-Connect.



Try using TiLP instead. It is a third party program that allows communication between your calculator and computer.
