I just ordered Raspberry pi 2/Nigh Vision Cameras for it/and a touch screen. Since I just ordered it, I would like to know what the best way to learn Raspberry is. I have a deep understanding of Python and the basics of C++ so I am not new to programming, just raspberry pi. So I would like to know where I can start learning it.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Natnael.

There are great books on the the Raspberry Pi available from your local bookshop and online at sites like Amazon, where you can read reviews, compare prices etc.

Make sure that your book covers the Pi 2 as there are older versions of the Pi, such as the B+. I bought "Raspberry Pi User Guide" by Eben Upton and Gareth HalfAcree, Third Edition. This edition is relevant for models up to and including the B+, which is what I have. The technology is constantly changing and improving. So be sure to get the right edition of books for your Pi 2. Have fun!

If you got a Raspberry Pi computer (it isn't a chip), there are plenty of online tutorials to get even complete novices using it.

I just got the same stuff. Adafruit is a good starting point. They have info on how to get the touch screen working easily. The official site has info on the camera. It's pretty much just plug and play if you enable it.
