You can turn your picture made with Gimp into a XML very easy. First you need to get ( 2 ) two free software`s ( 1 ) one is called Format Factory and ( 1) one is called test XML .You can get Format Factory here.

http://www.formatoz.com/

And you can get test XML here. http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/File-Management/Test-XML.shtml .First turn your picture into a SWF with Format Factory to do that down load Format Factory and install it on your computer open it up and make sure that video is selected then in the white box that has a white Arrow in it click on it and go down to the SWF icon make sure it is highlight and in the box that come`s up click on the blue box that say`s All supported video files next to it .And in that box that come`s up select all file`s make sure at the top of the box the folder that you keep your picture`s in has been selected find your picture and Select it.click on the blue button that say`s add file then click on the one that say`s OK your SWF file will be where ever your FF output folder. When your picture is a SWF unzip your testXML and open the testXML folder Double click on XML test.exe and ia the box that will come up click on run a new box will come up click on make XML and in the Selection box Select your SWF that you have made from a picture Select it and click on open and it will make the SWF into aXML.

P.S you can save your textXML zip file to your computer desk top to make it ease`r

I hope this can help you.

GIMP is just an image editor. It edits raster images - that is all it does! There is no such thing as a GIMP image. All images for use on a web page are either png, jpg or gif. It doesn't matter what software you used to edit it.

XML (and HTML) is the code for a webpage - for blogger you would need to code a template for your page. GIMP cannot do it for you. You need to learn it, and code it yourself.

You can of course use GIMP to slice up images for inclusion in a web page or a template for a CMS such as blogger, and GIMP can even create a very simple HTML file which includes a simple table to hold all your images, but that's as far as it goes I'm afraid. You would still have to learn how to code it. You'd need to learn both HTML and XML to be able to code a template for blogger and you will probably also need to learn CSS too.

Here's some tutorials to get you started.
