To upload your site you'll need the following information:

1. FTP Address or Hostname: Your Domain Name

2. FTP Username & Password: You selected both of these during account creation

3. Start Directory: You should leave this blank or include a single forward slash (i.e. /)

4. FTP Port: You should enter Standard, or 21.

Then depending on which version of DreamWeaver you are using they have different help articles for it:

DreamWeaver MX

Dreamweaver CS3

hope this helps

You should be having a control panel provided you by GoDaddy.

Login to the control panel. Create an FTP account. Give the required permissions.

Then try to connect it using the id and password of your FTP account from Dreamweaver.

once it is connected you can upload you site.

how to create a FTP account.

this tutorial should be provided by godaddy.

1) You should have gotten the FTP address when you got the site.

2) Either map the site as a network drive (the easiest way) or use an FTP client. Getting lost when trying to set Dreamweaver up properly so that it accesses your site via FTP is common. And it's not the way professionals upload files to sites.

You will have to ask the person who owns the website to give you the files. Going to view > Source will not provide the original source code. Or, you can use Black Widow (google it) to extract the original source.
